“Cut Healed Mine: Processing Top Surgery” brought together Boston-area art-makers (plus one from Rhode Island) to produce a surprisingly cohesive show on the topic. The show was organized by Taan Shapiro. At the opening, Taan discussed working with AndreA Neuman-Mascis of The Meeting Point to put the show together as part of The Meeting Point’s mission.
Here is a blog post by photographer Jess Dugan about Cut Healed Mine. You can spot me in the “crowd” photo.
A couple of my drawings:
The exhibit is now behind curtains (I haven’t seen the new set-up) so that clients coming to The Meeting Point will not be triggered by seeing the show with no warning. It will be on display until January at 3464 Washington Street, Jamaica Plain, MA.
